Telly - the social video network

Ever wanted to have a single place for all the hilarious videos you’ve watched online?  Perhaps all your favorite music videos or all the crazy stunt videos you’ve seen? 

On Telly, you can do all of that through Collections.  A Collection is essentially a set of videos organized by a topic or a theme and it can contain videos from YouTube, Vimeo, ESPN, NBC, Hulu, TED, Funny or Die, and on.

So go ahead grab that crazy prank video you watched on Yahoo, that hilarious skit you saw on YouTube, and that sophisticated comedy short from College Humor!  Show off your Collection to your friends!

Best of all, other people can finally express their admiration for your distinguished and discerning taste in comedy and follow your Collection!

There has been so many Collections we’ve been coming across and it’s been hard to keep up to say the least but below is a few we know will have you glued to the screen for some time. Enjoy! :)

Today we’re kicking off the 7Lions “Born To Run” Contest on Telly!  

The release of the band’s EP “Born To Run” has been met with an incredible response, debuting #13 on the iTunes Alternative chart.  It’s filled with energy and inspiration, and you can’t help but sing along to the song when it is playing.

Hence the inspiration behind the contest! :)

7Lions wants to see you singing “Born To Run” in the craziest places whether it’s on an airplane, under water, in the supermarket (you get the idea).  Winners’ videos will become part of a bigger video to be made by 7Lions and will also receive an awesome prize pack!

So without further adieu, here’s the lowdown on the challenge:

How to Enter

1. Capture a video of yourself singing along to “Born To Run” by 7Lions.  You can listen to the Instrumental here and download it here.  For some extra inspiration, watch the Born To Run official music video
2. Upload the video to your Profile on Telly.com with the following title: Hey 7Lions, I was Born 2 Run.  Then copy and paste the link to your video in the 7Lions Born To Run official contest collection on Telly - Telly.com/7Lions/born2run
3. If you are on Twitter, tweet out the link to your video with @7lions4ever and #Born2Run
4. If you are on Facebook, post the link to your video and tag @7lionsmusic

Side-note

1. The video should be at least 30 seconds long and preferably high in quality
2. You may end up in the 7Lions’ video! :)  Creativity and Originality Rule!

Hello Folks!

Starting today and ongoing for the next 3-4 weeks, we will begin migrating existing Twitvid users to Telly.  Your Twitvid profile and all your videos will now be accessible on Telly.com!

No action is needed on your part for this migration as you will still be able to do everything on Telly that you could do on Twitvid - Easily upload videos to Twitter or Facebook from the mobile apps or the website; Watch videos from your favorite Twitter users; Embed your videos on other sites.

In addition, we’ve added a whole set of new features for you to enjoy:

1. Organize and share your favorite videos: Install the browser extension or our Chrome bookmarklet to share cool videos you find online
2. Build a following: Upload your own videos, or share other videos (YouTube, Vimeo, ESPN, etc.) you find online to your profile on Telly.
3. Discover awesome videos: Follow others and discover what videos they finding, liking, or watching.
