We’re proud to announce the official release of the Telly iPad app and some KEY updates for the iPhone, such as tilt-shift photography and the ability to add filters to videos in your camera roll.

Upon your first look at the iPad app, you’ll notice we’ve maximized your screen with a tile format for each video, displaying up to 9 videos. You have all the features you know and love from our iPhone & Android apps, such as Liking and Commenting from the video stream view. You can view videos under “My Video Feed” which are videos from Telly users you follow or you can view the Popular videos that are trending throughout Telly.

When you tap into a video you want to watch, the player pops up and begins playing immediately. You also have your Like and Comment options including a share button for posting to Twitter, Facebook, a text message, and an option to delete your video. The app makes it easy to see everybody who’s Liked it, as well as viewing comments.

If you’re looking to find new users to follow, you can invite people you already know or go through a list of suggested Telly users. Remember, the more people you Follow, the more content you’ll discover in your Feed!

Also, you have full access to your Telly profile so you can view your uploaded and Collected videos, fill out your bio, update your profile image, manage your notifications and connect Telly to your Twitter & Facebook accounts.

And finally for the Telly iPad app, you can capture video and upload directly to your Telly profile!

Now, with all this attention given to the iPad, we’d be remiss not to mention our iPhone updates! We’ve added the ability to miniaturize your video subjects with Tilt-shift photography. Check out what we captured from the fire escape of our office in San Francisco:

There’s also a new feature that lets you apply our sweet filters to videos already in your camera roll :) Beyond the tilt-shift and camera roll updates, we’ve made some stability improvements along with improving the video quality of uploaded videos.
