We are proud to announce the next big update (version 2.0) to the Telly iPhone app! On this version, we’re focused on helping users connect with one another to build stronger communities. Watch our short video highlighting the new features:

Here’s what’s new to version 2.0:

Group video sharing: Share videos you’ve created or discovered privately or with specific groups. Users can reply and chat one-on-one or in a private group via video or text within Telly.

Carousel view: Enjoy a “lean-back” video mode to view, engage or skip videos in your My Telly feed or Popular. Simply tilt your phone sideways to check it out.

Improved ‘Create’ experience: You can now pause and resume recording capabilities for shooting scenes. Also we added a new “Hollywood filter” and sped up the production/sharing process with a streamlined UI.

Tag friends in videos: Start conversations and connect by tagging friends with @mentions in videos you create or in video comments.

New notifications center: View all video interactions made by others with your content in one centralized location.

Easily invite friends to Telly: Invite your friends to join in on discovering the best videos via text or through Telly’s new email look-up feature.

“We recognized that there was a huge issue in sharing videos with all your groups of friends – no one wants to receive a fifteen email long thread of people talking about a shared video,” said Telly CEO Mo Al Adham. “We want our users to be able to share the videos they love with the right group of people all in one place.”
