Discover great videos on Twitvid with Facebook!
10th May 2012
Facebook Timeline allows you to tell your friends who you are and share your experiences.
Today we’re happy to announce that you can now easily share the awesome videos you discover on Twitvid with your friends on Facebook. Woo Hoo! When logged into Twitvid with Facebook, you can choose to share the videos you are watching back to your Timeline and your friends’ News Ticker automatically. We take special care to ensure that only popular videos from reputable sources are shared back to Facebook, so no need to worry about spamming your friends.
We hope you’re just as excited about this update as we are!

You always have the ability to turn off your sharing status using the broadcast icon on every page. Also, you can control your settings from your Activity Log on Facebook, where you can remove specific videos from your Timeline or hide them.

Follow Me on Twitvid
3rd April 2012
Just like on Twitter or on Pinterest, you can follow on Twitvid. Following on Twitvid means you’re exclusively following videos from people and collections you care about the most. So anytime your friend or your favorite celebrity shares a video on Twitvid, it appears right in your Video Feed!
There are 2 ways to follow on Twitvid:
Follow a User: Every user’s Twitvid profile has this button
at the top of the page. Once you click to follow the user, anytime they upload or post a video, that video will appear right in your personal Video Feed. Try visiting some of these profiles: Monica Brown, Donnie Wahlberg, Kat Von D, Justin Bieber, John Cena, New York Knicks
Follow a Collection: You may not be interested in following a specific User per say, but perhaps you want to follow one of the user’s video Collections. Meaning, you don’t have to follow me on Twitvid but if you like electronic dance music or awesome up-and-coming artists, then you can choose to follow just my House Music or Web Artists collections. :)
Try following some of your favorite people and collections, and come back to your Video Feed on Twitvid to watch any new videos from those that you follow!
And of course, we’re always excited to hear any feedback or questions from you: hi (at) twitvid (dot) com

A Social Video Network!
24th March 2012Howdy ladies and gents! :)
Over the years, we’ve worked hard and with passion to provide the easiest and the fastest way to capture and share your videos. Thanks to your tremendous love and support, we’ve gone from a simple app to becoming the largest video sharing service on Twitter.
And as you’ve noticed the changes that have been happening on Twitvid.com over the past few months, this passion for video we share with our users has led us to launch the very first social video network.
What is a social video network? Perhaps the best way to answer that is through our individual and collective experiences around video.
We are at once… video watchers, creators, publishers, and syndicators. We do this every day… all of us. We watch a video, share it, and talk about it. And at times we create and publish our own!
But we don’t have an easy way to deal with the massive and growing volume of videos and tap into the stuff we love. Great videos are there! But a seamless experience in easily discovering, watching, and sharing them (and perhaps even collecting them) just doesn’t exist.
So here we are today! A passionate pursuit of building the very first social video network: a place to discover and watch amazing videos; to seamlessly share them with your friends and network; to collect and create a library of your favorite video collections.
How is it all done? We’ve just gotten started and we’re working tirelessly as the best is yet to come!
Follow our blog and stay tuned for our upcoming posts as we share with you the awesome features behind the first social video network :)
